Nice article, thanks for sharing Bobby131313.

I wonder if any of the error / variety sheets have shown up through the USPS online ording from the 'cave'?

Ideal started off willing to pay $15,000 and then went to $25,000 a week or two ago and now in the latest Linn's is still offering to buy but no price stated.

found this while browsing- a single up for auction- last I heard 16 sheets have been found or what 96 stamps, that is a lot of hay if auctioned off lol. (see the 20th item down on auction page) http://stampauctionnetwork.com/v/v65241.cfm

For those who may not want to go through the auction site previously posted, here's the stamp they are auctioning at $7500:

(Although, I don't know I would go as far as to grade the stamp XF-Superb.)

Personally, I would rather see the entire pane left intact, but from a financial perspective, I suppose if they can get $7500 PER STAMP, that would realize up to $45,000 for the souvenir sheet of 6, versus $25,000 or so currently being offered for the entire souvenir sheet left intact.

At least the listing goes to prove that one or more of the Souvenir Sheets are being trimmed down to individual stamps for resale on the secondary market.
