Since I doubt I'll ever own a full set of Columbians, I made sure to get copies of the 1992 Souvenir Sheets. I mounted the stamps in my album, but what should I do with the envelope they came in?

Keep it? Trash it? Opinions?

I would find something like that hard to throw away, even though I probably would never use it again. I save too much stuff.

I would use a blank page and mount it in my album too.

It's a nice advertisement for the set.

They are beautiful kirks

I tend to agree with the rest and I think I would add a blank page and mount them in my collection.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a plan -- I'll just insert a blank page with the envelope. I guess since I've held on to it for this long, I obviously didn't want to trash it. But I wasn't sure if I should"collect" it :-)

i believe I mentioned this once before months ago.but IF I were a U.S. collector I think I would want a set of the Zepps...my preference being in used condition..i would never have the real expensive stuff but would feel comfortable with the zepps !!

I'd mount the envelope on a seperate page. I need those mini-sheets, used.

Phil, I've never even seen the Italian,Spanish and Portugese sheets. I'll have to do a little googling.

David; I bet they will be hard to find in used condition. And I'm sure I haven't seen any "singles" -- just intact sheets.

Kirk: I need the used mini-sheets and the used singles. I hope to get them at StampExpo 400, in Albany, NY.

Yes, mount it on a blank page. That's what I did with the envelope that my Presidential souvenir sheets came in, and I put that page before the pages with the sheets. Looks good.

I agree. I would be better to keep it. You never know when you could encounter something like that again.

Well, the way I see it, most people will throw the envelope away, so it could well be worth keeping with the stamps.
