If the Jenny were a more practical denomination - even $1 - I'd have bought a lot more sheets. I send a lot of international mailings that are 1 oz or less, for which the current rate is $1.20. I'd use $1 Jennys all day long, combined with discount postage. It's not often that I need to apply more than $2 in postage to a single mailing, however, so it takes me awhile to use up the $2 stamps. Of course, that's the entire point of the $2 denomination. The USPS doesn't want them to get used.

No lottery or any other scheme. Just reprint the upright Jenny and make it widely available just like the inverted Jenny. Also, should reprint it in a way that makes differentiation from the original upright impossible.

To hell with those who spent a fortune buying the uprights.
