Here's one I prepared earlier...

For the sake of new members, that is Bandicoot, Emma and myself on the cover.

Thanks Steve-Triggersmob!That's a first for me, an envelope with a picture!
When you said "Bandicoot-Emma-myself", did you start at the left or right side of the pic?
Best regards!

G'Day all and Steve nice idea mate though I'd seen that cover before,
this cover I'll post has the sellers or the previous owners printing in pen on it shame but it is an unusual date cancellation,
the cancellation is Feb 29Th 1928 It's the first leap year flight for the mail.

I know it's not the best cover in the world but still interesting

Nuggethill, Thats a great date 1928! I noticed, is it still by today, that the cancellation is marked away from the poststamp? Same with Steve's envelope, because here in the Philippines, the arm of the postal clerk with the mark cancellation date, aims squarely on the stamp. it's that way here

365 each of a single issue with a legible, different date!

What a magnificent idea!

What a frustrating, insane, daunting task!

It's perfect!

To make this truely perfect would be to begin on January 1, and complete the entire year & we'd need to wait until 2012 in order to catch the next leap year, Feb. 29.

The more I think about this idea the better it gets!
