Catchy, puts a mysterious alluring image in the mind of GOLD coinage and then the word philately (study of stamps), also slightly international as French would be

There, now if that doesn't inspire the rest of you who had much better names than that then I'll eat my hat. . . or the stamp anyway . . .

How about keeping it short and simple, the old KISS (keep it simple, silly) rule. Also it should evoke emotion (good, ideally) to be remembered.

I thought of

Apollo (something or other)

because of the US moon missions. Those were emotional to me anyway and I always remember them in a good way (I know, the unfortunate mission was not a good thing, but overall . . ) and I think a lot of people worldwide remember the first moon landing.

Also Apollo is a Greek god (from Wikipedia) Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy; archery; medicine and healing; music, poetry, and the arts; and more.

Stamps are the arts aren't they?
Good for topicals/thematics I suppose.
I know, not Indian and very western.

OK, I did some more puzzling.

I thought that the game of Chess is pretty universal and popular in literature now and our westernized type of chess actually started in India.

Then I saw the 8 x 8 squares of a chess board (now-a-days) and I looked up the number 8. (Wikipedia is Great!)

Eight is a Fibonacci number, (Wiki it!) like the spirals in the outer part of a sunflower and in lots of other parts of nature.

In Hinduism (not sure if that is important here) 8 is the number of wealth and abundance.

Number 8 is a lucky number in China and in Japan for slightly different reasons, both to do with wealth.

The list is pretty large in Wikipedia about the use and importance of the number 8.

Oh, yeah, the Buddhist Eightfold Path.

Mainly though, I like the reference to Chess.

So, How about 'Eight Stamps Eight Coins'

or '8 Coins * 8 Stamps' or '8 Stamps and 8 Coins'

You could use a chess board (or an 8x8 board) with stamps on one side and coins on the other as your store picture (with appropriate stamps and coins (to do with chess) playing a game (copy a real one from somewhere so the pieces are placed correctly) maybe even with only eight pieces left on either side (if that is possible).

I think it would work nicely. It attracts the nerdy aspect of collectors and the wealth aspect attracts the rest of the populace.

Of course, you must explain somewhere about the history of chess and how lucky it is to buy eight stamps or coins and have sales of buy 7 get one free and 8 x 8 is even better!! And pricing in multiples of 8.

It is the selling of an idea here. The more the idea benefits someone or they feel it would then the more they want it.

Holy smokes, why don't I have a store!?? What am I doing giving away all this great info. My brain is wrung out and hanged on the line to dry! I wish I had some nice chess stamps to illustrate this idea.
