I have just come to visit my favourite group and I see a big difference !! Is it only me or do others see it too. I cannot find any threads about it so thought I'd ask.

The Font style is different and the latest messages are larger in number......but where are the last message icons ??? My favourite 'click' on this site has gone...or maybe it's my computer ??

HELP !

It's not your computer.

I'm going to be playing with things for the next week or so. There's some good stuff coming. I'll work on the last post thing.

That list is now longer on the longer pages like forum.asp and default.asp.

Bobby, like the longer (recent topic list) but it seems harder to pick out the posts. They seem to disappear more into the background. Hope you know what I mean. Maybe a different background color or leave as is but with the old font color. Just my observations. Hey we are all beta testers, right.

Looks like it stands out more so let the others take a look. I know some change may be hard to get used to but it really to me looked like it blended in. Thank you.

Actually, I've run into a major problem with the new look.

I'm using Firefox 3.5.2

The problem I'm running into is that what used to be a nice single vertical column of links at the left, now appears as a run-on jumble of links.

I will try with IE and Chrome and see how it looks. I will also try to post a pic of what it looks like.

This is what the links on the left side look like now when I use Firefox.

I just tested using IE, and it looks great!

However, I don't use IE anymore because it is so slow and buggy, especially because I usually have to use slow dial-up when I'm on my road trip.

I realize you all are busy, but I'm hoping you all can find some time to make it Firefox/Chrome compatible. Otherwise this will put a big dent in my participation on SCF. It's really difficult to discern the links when they form one long run-on sentence.

I use Firefox 3.5.2 on dial-up and the list of links on the left looks OK to me. Nicely formatted and legible and separated.

Maybe you have your settings or options set differently in Firefox? Or computer?

OK, thanks for letting me know. I will look into this later. I have not made any changes to Firefox nor Chrome in the past week. Everything was fine before I left town last week. The only difference is that I am using dial-up to access instead of broad-band. I will check the broadband access again when I return home later this week; but I don't understand why that would make a difference.

The change definitely occurred sometime during the weekend. Perhaps there is something I need to untweak in order to get it to work properly?

"Puzzled".

Should be...

Yeah, I bet that's it. When I turn the Page Style off then the list looks like khj described. But when I turn it on, everything is OK again.

Wunderbar!
