It just seems like a good topic... I'm wondering what everyone's vote for "most beautiful stamp" might be. Of course that will be in the eye of the beholder but here's my vote: Canada Scott C5 -Allen

Abohart, you did select a great stamp, beautifully engraved, nicely centered. |

I'd like to take credit for hunting down such a nicely centered example, but that image was swiped from the Canadian Philatelic Museum's website, so it's not mine. I only collect used stamps, and my copy is very nice, but not nearly that nice! revstampman - That is a really nice stamp! -Allen |

That "Persian Rug" also is not mine. But, I can at least take solace in the fact that I DID own one years ago! I also had the small Rug, I Sold them with my original Revenue collection to pay off College. |

Ok, good point! Along the same vein, here's my favorite error of all... Also swiped! -Allen |

I think my choice will buck the trend as it certainly stays away from the old and the engraved. Here is one of my favorites: It shows Kari Sylwan and Harriet Andersson in the scene "Anna's Dream" from Ingmar Bergman's Cries and Whispers. In my Bergman studies this film was one of the most difficult and captivating and I was glad when Posten AB decided to show this particular scene in 1981. It has been one of favorites since. |

Great stamps everyone. Here is one of my faves, a gift from a friend last year. Londonbus1 |
