Lest anyone believe we don't remember.... Not a stamp, but we do, Remember.
These are older video, but I tried to find some that offer some of the depth and range. It is interesting that our POTUS (President of the US), was in Warsaw on the 27th laying wreaths on Poland's Tomb of the Unknown, and if memory serves, it is a consistent event in all trips abroad... to visit and pay our respect to those who have paid the ultimate price.
Londonbus, let me apologize for not answering your question. Here in the US, the remembrances are mainly local. There is a national Memorial Day concert televised from Washington, on the public broadcasting channel. Most people, sadly, do not on a personal level commemorate the day. The day is a holiday, and is touted in the media as the unofficial beginning of summer. There are cookouts, trips to the lakes or beaches.
I suppose many people remember the war dead in their own way. I think of my father's service in WWII in which he was wounded. I have a cousin whose husband was wounded in Vietnam.
So I guess the bottom line is that each individual remembers in his or her own way.
