Dave, If no one gas taken you up on your free offer (#320539686540), I'd love to have it. And if already spoken for, thanks for having made it available to a quick on the draw member.

You may have already learned of this but if not; ... It would be expensive but you would have an experts opinion. One caution, as you have probably figured out from these posts that even experts sometimes disagree. My suggestion: on ebay under US stamps search for "STAMP EXPERTIZATION SERVICE". Mr Weiss offers a service to identify a stamp as genuine and as I understand it, he gives the color name when necessary or if you ask him. price is $20.00 plus shipping. He is well respected and is much less expensive than other expertizers.

Hello quigngt, I am literally JUST about to send a $5 #263? is it? the $15,000 stamp off to PSE, and the fee to have it done up right is about $700. Will Mr. Weiss do that for $20? Thanks

Sorry Dave, I'm a little slow answering your question. According to Mr Weiss' description on ebay, the answer is yes. He charges $5.00 extra for a color photo with the certificate he issues. $20 provides a B&W photo. I have never used his service but many who do will pay his price and if he states the stamp to be very high value, some will then send it to another expertizer who charges much more to verify Mr Weiss' findings.
