Yes, that's how it turned out.
I was up at the crack of dawn yesterday for what is most likely the last Flea Market of the year. The car was loaded to the roof the day before. I'd had only 5 hours sleep having played Taxi Driver to my daughter until after midnight !! [Why do young people START their fun at 1am ??]
Having quickly set up my tables it was clear it was going to be a good day, the place was soon heaving. During the day I met a number of stamp collectors who purchased a number of items, including some better stuff ! Included were two Dads with their kids who also collect and it was such fun speaking with them for as long as I was able and to give them some stamps and empty albums for free !
One of the Dads will bring his sons to visit me because he has an interest in Cinderellas and JNF labels in particular.
It was a great feeling and a great atmosphere all day long and I came home with a much lighter car [less than half full !!] and over $400 in my pocket !

Today I came home from work to find the mail on my desk. A bulging packet from Kirk; A Bomb Proof packet from Stampgal [I wonder who she's been learning from ?]; and a million stamps [or so it seems] from Stamp Virgin. On top of that there was an eagerly awaited
ebay lot which I will show later in the '1971 Postal Strike' thread and the latest copy of the USA Philatelic with it's usual superbly designed front cover [other magazines take note].
So all in all, a great weekend and it's not over yet........
Londonbus1....Stampgal's packet, here I come
