The inscription on the picture side is Jinchû tayori "News from the front" or "News from the camp", followed by spaces for the date: year, month, day.
On the message side, the inscription along the top is Yûbin hagaki "Post card". The rectangle at upper left reads Gunji yûbin "Military mail". The inscription in the purple rectangle is Ken-etsu sumi "Examined by censor", so the bottom part of the rectangle is presumably where the censor would put his mark.
