Didn't think it would ever happen to me, but here's a U.S. puzzler I have to ask about. The cancel seems to say "MENDENHALL" but after that, blotted by the dark background, it might say "P.O." followed by what might be "JU...". Over at the other end is what might be the tail end of the postal code: "...03".
I know that there are two Mendenhalls that have post offices -- in Mississippi and Pennsylvania -- but neither's postal code ends in ...03.
So where was this Mendenhall canceled?
