I purchased several items from a trusted seller, TRAVELSTAMPS, on ebay.

Days after my purchases I saw the listing by clite-36 a seller with zero (0) feedback. That seller took two listings from TRAVELSTAMPS and massed them together. The text for a Q6 I purchased and the image of a Q5 I purchased. Note the damaged inking at the top which makes the stamp and photo unique.

I reported the new seller to ebay and ebay response was no rule violation.

I provided the fraud listing and the listings I purchased from TRAVELSTAMPS.

I alerted TRAVELSTAMPS to the problem.

My last concern is since I have not yet received (its tracked) the purchases, clite-36 could be trying to sell my potentially stolen material.

I used to be extremely proactive reporting fraud on ebay. Particularly for the Ryle/Cartel listings but for others as well. Nothing ever came of any of it, so I stopped bothering.

Parcelpostguy, have you confirmed with the seller that they sent to your address? Guessing the scammer is just trying to make a quick buck and disappear.

Yes and I also alerted the legitimate, trust worthy seller to the thief of their listing. They even have contacted clite-36 without success.

AS rogdcam, I had alerted ebay about fake stamps and scammers for years.
I never got anything else but the autobot "We checked - nothing" answer, so I also gave up.
ebay just makes too much money from those people to bother.

Success!

Well, I have been checking the clite-36 fraudulent listing every couple of days and today, it and the seller's ID have completely left ebay. Nor did the listing show in the "completed" listings.

One down; dozens more to go. Watch for the seller to return under a different name.
