After many hours of research, I give up. If anyone knows what the plate number might be, I would be very grateful.

The plate wear is a huge clue. Also look at the frameline below the A.

I scrolled down too quickly. I enjoyed plating a couple penny blacks lately and was planning to give it an honest shot - but once you have seen the "answer" it takes the mystique out of trying!
