Hello everyone,

I am a new member from China and excited to join the Stamp Community today! For my very first post, I would love to share a recent First Day Cover (FDC) that I received.

This cover features the full set of 4 stamps from the "Chinese Seal Engraving (III)" series, officially issued by China Post on April 20, 2026. This beautiful series showcases the magnificent art of traditional Chinese stone seals.

As you can see from the image, the envelope was mailed from Zhuhai, Guangdong, and it also features a special commemorative postmark for the upcoming "Macao 2026 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition" (taking place from June 26 to July 1).

I really love how the bold red seal impressions contrast against the black backgrounds on these stamps.

I look forward to learning more from you all and sharing more about Chinese philately. Any comments or thoughts on this cover are highly appreciated!

Best regards,
Chinastampraw

Welcome!

I'd be interested to know more about the characters in the margins. I think I recognise "China" and "(3)". What do the other two characters mean, and what's the significance of "(3)"?

Thank you both for the warm welcome!

To answer Plc's question about the characters in the margins:
The four characters are "#20013;#22269;#31686;#21051;" (Zhongguó Zhuànkè), which means "Chinese Seal Engraving".

The "(3)" means this is the 3rd set/series under this specific theme issued by China Post (the 1st set was issued in 2022, and the 2nd in 2024).

I am so happy you are interested in these details! I will head over to the introduction forum to introduce myself soon.
