The Partizanski dnevnik newspaper

Partizanski dnevnik was the only daily newspaper of the Slovene national liberation movement. It first appeared in November 1943 as the military bulletin of the Triglav Division of the National Liberation Army (NOV) and the Partisan Detachments of Slovenia (POS). Publication continued until 7 May 1945. Originally duplicated using a cyclostyle machine, from September 1944 onwards it was printed in two clandestine printing shops. It runs of 4,000, rising on occasion to as many as 7,000 copies. Like all clandestine Partisan publications, the newspaper was distributed daily by couriers across the Primorska and Gorenjska regions.

Tygodnik Powszechny

is a Polish Catholic weekly magazine that's been in circulation since 1945.
It was founded by Cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha in Kraków, where the editorial office is still based today.
It covers religion, culture, politics, global affairs, and social issues. During the communist era, it stood out as an independent voice for Catholic intellectuals.
In fact, in 1953, the authorities suspended it temporarily because it refused to print an obituary for Stalin.
