Good morning, eight for today!
Mendocino, posted in 7/26/2015, re-scanned and re-posted 1/24/2017.

Modesto, in-bound Ukiah, Ukiah used their short-lived Ukiah City CDS (May 18,1888 to Jul 2,1888 = 46 days) as a receiver on the back side.
Since the USPOD opened an office named Ukiah in Northern California, I'm not sure if the office was allowed to use a different name as a postmark. I've never seen this CDS used on the front of a cover.
Maybe Mr. Becker could tell us what was allowed?

Point Arena,

Willits & San Fran. RPOs, a fun group, three postal cards (U1) from the same author aboard the North bound train (Tr16) addressed to same person.
The messages seem to be written while at each station. I'll post them in the order they were written.
Note that all three CDSs show the same break in the outer ring, a variety I refer to as NWP-985-U2a.
