In 1952, H.L. Peckmore & Son engraved and printed this ornate Liberian souvenir sheet (Scott #C69a) for the Jehudi Ashmun series. The sheet measures roughly 8½" × 10" and features the full series, with inset vignettes in black.

This is probably my favorite engraved souvenir sheet and it would have required at least 7 passes through an intaglio press, possibly more.
Peckmore experimented with other colors for the frame, including blue and green, but settled on black. Here is a progress proof and an example of the blue frame (which I actually prefer).
