Leuchtturm Pre-Printed Album Pages

Hello to all from a new member in Sweden.
I started storing my stamp collection in Leuchtturm pre-printed albums. Very expensive, I know. Over the years I have become more interested in collecting the album pages than the stamps itself. I have now a collection of almost 45,000 album pages stored in about 400 albums and some more that I only have photos of from auctions on the Internet. But still much to learn and lots of countries with missing pages or information. Leuchtturm themselves claims they have no knowledge of what they have produced over the years so I index them myself in order to know what I am supposed to look for on auction sites etc.
So, I wonder if I'm the only one collecting these? I would be interested to know if there is a part of the stamp community with this interest. In the end I would hope to have a forum for sharing information about these pages and maybe sharing pictures so that you know what stamps are on what pages. It becomes difficult because they issue replacement pages all the time which leads to you buying new sets for loads of money and still have one or two stamps that there is no room for because they have replaced a page or two...
So anyone in here interested in this?

One oddity is that in the older Lighthouse pages I've owned, the illustration of the stamp is drawn, rather than photographed.

Yes, they did that up until the seventies I believe. But most collecting areas have been renewed since then, with photos.

I've always thought the older (apparently pre-1970s) Lighthouse (Leuchtturm) pages with drawings of stamps instead of photos looked particularly strange, almost amateurish. There must be some reason they did that -- maybe photos of stamps were illegal in some countries or it was too expensive to photograph them or someone's spouse was a good artist who needed a job?

I don't collect album pages which strikes me as an enormous, even massive, pile of paper to have around the house and with no stamps on the pages? But I do have a few albums with no stamps in them which are copies of albums I once used years ago maybe partly for sentimental reasons. And I have stacks of unused blank pages for the various albums I use for stamps but that's not the same thing as "collecting album pages". You're the first person I've ever heard who does that, and I can't imagine your spouse is very happy about it! Or that all those pages have much value over the years?

Some of my favorite pages layouts are by KaBe whose pages are hard to find in the U.S. but for favorite album pages, I prefer to "collect" images copied from the internet instead of the actual pages. Lighthouse has some of the best page layouts of any publisher even if they seem a bit "cold" or "formal" to me. I prefer a nicer (fancier) border, for one thing, and German style can look too bleak for my taste. Scott Specialty pages are more appealing to me for this reason.
