Interesting Franklin 156? Is This A Mustache?

I have other stamps to add. This one was an estate sale album purchase. It seems to be a 156. I would defer to others to help me further identify the stamp. The oddity for me was seeing BF with a mustache. Is this a normal element on these 1C Franklins?

Any help with confirming this is a 156 and with understanding the mustache is appreciated.

The mustache is possibly an ink pull, same as the two white blobs behind Ben. Not a normal element but not rare either, stuff happens when an 1870's Banknote company prints 120 million copies of one stamp.
Also looks like he's ready for a bath. Room temp tap water, dry between smooth blotter paper with a book or two on top. Couple days and he'll look great.

did you mean 145? I don't see a 147, but the 145 has 120 m in the guide you posted.

If it is a 145, then it is a little older than I thought!

yes, I meant 145. 147 will be the green 3 cent National (without grill)

and beer for the horses.

Look at #206 re-engraved.
It has some extra lines of shading in the upper "arabesques". The color is gray-blue versus the ultramarine of the original 145/156, and your stamp is on yellowish "soft porous paper" while the originals were printed on hard white paper.

Those are soft paper perfs. They are not nearly cut sharply enough or clean enough to be hard paper perfs. And this stamp comes from a worn plate, so not seeing the secret mark on a scan means very little.
