Saw a big collection of Christmas Seals on e-bay today. Unfortunately it looks like many of the sheets were stored in a Magic Photo Album. There's no way those sheets are making it out in one piece. Fortunately nothing valuable was seen.

Lesson for beginners, as convenient as it appears, please don't use a Magic Photo Album to store your stamps.

For that matter, don't use them for photos either!

I remember flipping through these types of albums over 50 years ago. They became despised even back then. Now they are sold as vintage treasures on Etsy and ebay. Hilarious.

Not sure whether you were kidding or not, but yes, it is possible to build quite extensive and valuable collections of Christmas Seals. Here are a few examples.

Thanks for that! So WX numbers are Scott's, and they added them to the catalog(ue) in 2020… And 1907 is the "origin year".

There are British examples- I don't think they date back further than the 1980s. Will keep my eyes open for American ones
