Bisected Mexico Sc#358

Hello all!
I recently received a mix of Mexico stamps and in it was this bisected cancelled 10c Transitorio stamp. Is this a postally valid use of this stamp? I read some resources from MEPSI that bisected 10c might have been recognized as 5c in value for a couple of days, but the blank date on the cancel makes me wonder whether it was made especially for a collector by an Hermosillo post office employee or if it is a fake.

There is not enough information to make a true fact for that item , to what was going on in Mexico. Mexico was in a unstable period .It could be a postmaster acting on his own or something made for the philatelic market years later .

It looks liike a favor cancel. The bisects were used from the 16th of July to the 29th.As floortrader indicated, for collectors..souvenir..
