Eire Oddity - Changeling?

Good afternoon all,
Any Eire experts watching today? I discovered this slightly damaged (pulled corner) oddity recently, and wondered if it could be an error or just a changeling.
It is Eire 1970 SG279, Royal Cork Yacht Club. The regular stamp (top) has gold coloured inscription etc, whereas the oddity has very faint value & Eire and green inscription.
Any opinions welcomed.

This is common for a lot of countries/ printing firms ,a regular problem when you got three or four colors going on at the same time .

Thanks gents, that was my thinking, but not having a specialised Eire catalogue just thought I would check.

My 2020 Hibernian catalog lists only 1 variety. I would think this is oxidation or loss from soaking or sunlight.
