I'll assume these overprints are fake unless someone knows better.

Those "local revolutionary" overprints exist (many of them on Hitler stamps) but I assume there are more forgeries (including double or inverted overprints) than genuine issues.
They are not listed in Michel catalogue.

There is a real simple rule to follow with WWII overprints especially with Hitler Heads .

If you can't find a pre-1960 reference point for it , then it was printed after 1960 . Saves me a lot of wasted time .

Thanks guys. When I didn't find them in Michel I was pretty certain they'd be fakes. I do have a 1955 copy of Yvert for Europe. I'll check first in there if more dubious overprints turn up. And by look of things, they will.
