Google lens will point you in the right direction.
My gut tells me: 1. China in Taiwan (Formosa) section. 2. China 1L section... I think at back of People's Republic of China section. 3. Manchukuo. 4. Republic of China year 1946
I don't have my catalog to give a better answer. |

hummm, and I thought Formosa would be the easy one. I working with 2019 Sc catalogs. China - Taiwan (Formosa), p. 380, dont see it. If I look. for Formosa in index, reads pages 310 & 380. 310 is Republic of China, Taiwan. Not there. Little confused here. This one I see in PRC, image A3 But I cannot fine the $1000 denomination. EDIT: Not sure why I struck out on the 1st search ! Its a reprint , 1950 Sc1L136 in my 2019 cat, this one is China, Sc780, 1947. |

Stamp #4 is indeed China Scott #780.
Stamp #2 is Northeast China 1L136. It is design A3, but has the 4 characters added to signify "Northeast Postal Service". Perhaps a reprint? |

Stamp #1 appears to be something Scott doesn't list. Perhaps it is a local issue. |

ligneN, what led you to the conclusion that Formosa was not issued? At StampWorld I see that stamp, estimated to be from 1888, with a cancellation too, and unissued stamps won't be cancelled. |

The only evidence that it could be an unisued stamp, is that StampWorld showed only the price for an unused stamp. Maybe it is worth looking at a catalog like Scott and seeing what sort of prices there are. If I'm not mistaken, Scott doesn't include unisued stamps in the catalog. |

I found no Taiwan that went back that far. BUT, Scott kept referencing different Vol.'s when I looked at Taiwan so very possible its just me that could not find the right Volume / Section. A bit puzzling. |
