The Formosa stamps have an interesting story: When they were printed and arrived in Formosa, the stamps were no longer useful because the payment shifted from Cash to dollars and cents, and the rate was calculated differently. So they were unissued. Why were they cancelled? They became train tickets.No wonder they weren't found at Scott or SG.
