My favourite Canadian stamp-
on-stamp issue. For all you rodent stamp collectors, this was the
only rodent
on a stamp for almost 90 years. The stamp designer, Sir Sandford Fleming, wasn't just an artist, he was also an engineer. And a mapmaker. And a surveyor, he surveyed the first cross-Canada rail line. And he was a Captain in the militia. And he was a chancellor at a university for 35 years. And he invented time z
ones. And he founded the Royal Canadian Institute, Canada's oldest scientific society. Yikes, imagine what he could have d
one if he wasn't so lazy ...
Canadians will be familiar with these Historica Minutes.

only 4 hockey players finished higher! ha ha
