I have a stamp with a simple photo of a clam on it, and it makes me chuckle every time I see it. So how about some more clams... or lobsters, shrimp, mussels, etc. NO FISH! They have their own thread...

I don't have the set in my collection yet, but Angola 1974 set of 20 shells, SC# 573-92 is quite nice and would fit under this topic.. anyone have these?

I'm dumbfounded that Rod222 hasn't yet chimed in with his Travancore. It featured a conch shell large or small, but lurking somewhere in the design of every stamp it produced. |
