I have 24 stamps featuring the fabulous Don, Here is one of the most fantastic designs of all philately. This stamp also has microdot printing in a code hidden in the design to indicate day of printing. |

Hi Rod222:
Thanks for this scan. I don´t have this stamp. I need it. Please, show me the others items that you have about Don Quijote.
Let me know what item do you need from Cuba.

You shall have trouble with the Austrian Alejandro, this image was given to me from a philatelist from Germany, and I believe this was a "P" stamp, A private tab style stamp that a lot of countries now produce. I am not certain of that and can check if it is important to you. Equatorial Guinea 130 Ekueles The man of la Mancha... My Cuba collection has tipped over the 1000 mark, so I am missing 75% If you have duplicates, wait till you have 50 posts here, then auction them, I shall certainly bid on them. |

The 1905 set from Spain One of the most unusual stamp sets of all philately in my opinion, cartoon style. Quite expensive now. |

Welcome Alejandro! Quote: and I believe this was a "P" stamp, A private tab style stamp that a lot of countries now produce. "P" stamps are from Australia, that is this is Australia Post's name for Personalized labels attached to stamps. A lot of countries do use this format like Great Britain, Australia, India, older France. However, Canada, Austria, newer France, to name a few, do not use this format. They allow the personalized pictures and designs to actually be on the stamps themselves, so the stamps, like the Austria one shown (very nice indeed) are actual stamps that are used for mailing envelopes and parcels. No additional stamp or label required. The Austria stamps can be issued in small quantities like only 3 on a sheetlet or 20 or multiples of 20. I think there is a list somewhere of Austria personalized stamps, from Austria Post too actually, but I have not looked for it yet. Here is a site that has lots of Austria personalized stamps from different years and topics. I looked under the art stamps but could not find the one shown. Perhaps he knows of such a one though? http://www.kosel.com/en/sh/atpers.htmFor the very sticky stamps from Spain shown search for ATM stamps or FRAMA stamps. Lots of sites and info and on eBay etc. |

Great scans, Rod. I'm a huge fan of Cervantes' Don Quixote and really want to collect these as a topical but must keep focused! |

Seems there is a few of us whom adore Cervantes, Rileysan, you'll pick these Spanish Sahara sets up for a song.
The beauty of a digital collection you can collect a thematic without having the stamps :)
