I plead ignorance.
Not much experience with the long toms of South Australia.
Australian punctures OS for the states remain a bit of an enigma, esp. for prices. (Usually 2 x catalogue)
Your stamp 6d Blue Green of 1904, could have been used anywhere in Australia.
South Australia ceased overprinting Officials in September 1903

They do exist, scroll down here, and check your punctures with the scans......

Ray.mac, your OS perfin is mostly fine - the only concern being the pin at 7 o'clock in the O, which appears out of alignment (possibly bent at some point?) - all other holes match perfectly.

There were quite a number of printings of the 6d thick 'POSTAGE' found legitimately punctured OS.

Crown over SA watermark, issued in 1904, had two printings.
Crown over A watermark, single line perf 12, 1907, had two printings.
Crown over A watermark, single line perf 12.5, 1910, had two printings.

The ACSC Kangaroos and The Early Federal Period catalogue, 2004, provides this information and prices OS punctures for each of the watermark/perforation combinations above.

The catalogue values back in 2004 were

Crown over SA watermark, 1904:
$6 used without OS
$10 used with OS

Crown over A watermark, single line perf 12, 1907:
$5 used without OS
$10 used with OS

Crown over A watermark, single line perf 12.5, 1910:
$6 used without OS
$10 used with OS

Hi,

From 2011: PoStat4evR's 1.5 KGVI perfinned OS / NSW postal card. The postally used postal card is valued at $500 AUD in the 2013 Brusden and White Australian postal stationery catalogue.

I was a bit surprised by the valuation as well.

Best wishes,
AndrewG
