It's hard to believe it has been over a month since I last posted here. Continuing my run of completed Austria pages, here's the next one. (Edited to add pic |

On the next page the Scenic Views return again, reissued in just two colors for the whole set, with a shade variety for the 20 groschen. Not that great for eye appeal. I have had the page completed for some time, but while scanning just now I noticed for the first time a slight scrape at the top of the 15 groschen, so will have to hunt for a new one, none in my duplicates (Edited for larger pic) |

If it were me, I'd remove it for that particular stamp because it is not high value and the selvage is bare. I prefer the stamps fit within their frames. |

Leave it. At worst, it protects the perforations. |

No significance. Just some small price labels that I bought from Amazon that are a reasonable size to write on. I'm lazy, it saves cutting paper to size. The shape is useful, a) to show it's a note, not a stamp and b) to help handling. They're only temporary, and can be updated as and when I want to add more info. |

re: Washington/Newburgh Scott 727, regular printing with gum. Six plates used. Plate block cv=$3. Scott 752, same but no gum. The Farley special printing. Two of the above six plates used. Plate block cv=27.50 I am puzzled why Scott lists the plate block for the special printing with a significantly different value since one can merely soak plate blocks of the gummed 727. It takes gutters to prove a 752, not the absence of gum. |

BFRomeos, Nice airmail page. Not all those are easy to find decently centered as you know. |
