Second Round Chinese Zodiac Stamps
February 18, 1992
This special pane contains the twelve Chinese New Year stamps issued from 1880 to 1991. The design by Ms. C.-M. Chuang adopts a round configuration to symbolize reunion and completeness. The Chinese zodiac animals are: rat, ox, tiger, hare, dragon, serpent, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig.

First Round Chinese New Year stamps
January 6, 2005
The first round of twelve Chinese New Year stamps were issued from 1992 to 2004. In 2005 two panes (single-sided and double-sided) of the series were issued (37c denomination). In 2006 one pane of the series was issued again (39c denomination).
The stamps feature paper-cut Chinese zodiac animals by artist Clarence Lee and free-style calligraphy by Lau Bun.

Year of the Ram (2015) - Prosperity Box of Snacks
Year of the Monkey (2016) - Red-orange Peonies
Year of the Rooster (2017) - Red Packet
Year of the Dog (2018) - Twisting Lucky Bamboo
Year of the Pig (2019) - Peach Blossoms on a Branch

This Chinese New Year series starts with Year of Rooster (2005) and ends with Year of Monkey (2016). The design consists Chinese painting and free-style calligraphy.

This set of 12 stamps were issued between 2001 (year of the Horse) and 2012 (year of the Snake). The last five stamps (years of the Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Snake) have different design from the earlier seven stamps.
