I recently purchased this Postage vending machine..i would like to duplicate the packaging that was use in the machine. Does anybody have a sample or could tell me what the dimensions of the folder is.
Any info or images greatly appreciated.

They were typically dispensed in cardboard folders with the stamps already inserted inside. Here's one example that's current for sale on ebay. I can't guarantee they fit every type of these sort of machines, but it should be good enough of an example to identify the sizing. (Actually, I do remember the ads on the outside of the cardboard for things like address labels, etc.):

wt1...thanks for the ebay link..i already saw it.
After a bit of experimentation...i got it to work!
I cut up some comic book backing board into 1 by 3 1/2 inch rectangles...folded them in half..inserted some vintage US stamps..put them in the machine with the counter weight..locked it up..inserted a US quarter..(it rejected a Canadian quarter)..pressed the lever and out popped the folded card with stamps inside..even the 50 cent option worked like a charm.
Now I have to get a supply of those lower denomination stamps.
I'll post some pictures of my project later.

Put in your quarter..pull down the lever and you got stamps!

Albeit with a tidy profit for the vendor.
