The mystery in Magical Mystery Postcard #6 is the story behind the drawing.

Le Mont Saint-Michel is an island with a monastery with (GUESSING) a dungeon.

The phrase "Colombat dan un in pace" might yield to a French speaker, but I think you need the French sense of humor to really 'get' the card.

? Peace too late for those already at peace ?

Q/ Translation?

Cheers,

And I just love a postcard with instructions:

The Auction Leprechaun (who bestows the luck-of-the-lot) has granted me, in a timely manner, this complementary exterior view of Mont St Michel, replete with the author's complaints about shlepping up'n'down all those steps.

He should be glad they did not throw him into the dungeon.

Mt. St. Michel
Sept 27th
You probably know every
inch of this heavenly spot.
But, oh, how hard it is
upon the knees! [] is
wonderful, we climbed all
afternoon yesterday in
glorious sunshine, but
the amount of steps was
appalling! Today is grey
and free of color. Love, []

The site is just west of Those Normandy Beaches.

Cheers,
