Ten years ago, I spent my birthday at Many Glaciers Hotel! Wonderful old lodge and spectacular views. |

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or on the Fierce Winters threads. But since this was a fairly common occurrence at Paradise Lodge, I'll add it here. Love the old steam shovel! If you jump back to the previous page, there's another card of the lodge and you can see how high this snow is piled. |

Time to break this topic out of dormancy! I found a RPPC of one of the few parks here in Oregon. While technically Oregon Caves isn't a national park, it is a national monument administered by the NPS. Very interesting place -- kind of a throw back to the old school parks. It takes some effort to get there, but well worth a visit. |

Here's one you might like, Desert Dweller. Death Valley NP doesn't get much love, but I'd still like to visit some day. |

Brian, I have a hand-tinted card very much like the top one you posted -- probably from the same printer. |

Scorching postcards! To get that close to hot lava they'd be risking their lives. Plenty of opportunity to break through the crust! Wow, that's quite a card. |
