It would be nice if poster's showed the reverse of their cards if used - that is the important side for some of us!

I generally show both sides if there is anything of philatelic interest. But that last one is unused.

Another shot of the glass bottom boat, from the outside.

Here's a better view of the excursion ship in the fold-out that stampfan posted above.

This thread is great! Thanks everyone for sharing their cards. I happened to find the card below in an antiques shop in Boone, Iowa, USA. This old postcard shows the Stage Road, Santa Catalina Island, California with copyright 1899 by Detroit Photographic. The writer wrote the message aboard a train headed home, and it has a nice El Paso & Tucson R.P.O. cancellation dated October 25, 1902. Not your normal Catalina postcard, I love the handwriting style on this one.

Linus

Found this one for less than a buck, so I had to pick it up. Nice Avalon hand cancel, too.

Trivia: that's a giant black sea bass, Stereolepsis gigas, nearly wiped out off California until protected in the 1980s. There are only smaller ones there today, maybe 100+ pounds. Don't necessary believe those photos of divers "next to" monsters.

This thread deserves a bump. Here's another wide view of Avalon harbor that I don't think has been posted yet.
