Scott 348a and 348 scanned together for comparison.

The stamp was reissued in 1941 with a surcharge of 20Fr on 50Fr

Odd year for an anniversary, then again if they waited for

Supberb engraving, one of my favourites.
Another example where a scan doesnt do justice to
the actual stamp, especially the colour is so
much more vibrant in reality.

Also the poor quality wartime stamp paper affect the scans in
a negative way.
