PRAGUE CASTLE series 1967 Designer & engraver : Josef HercikPrinting process : 1 colour engraved Golden Lane is a street situated at the Prague Castle.Its name is connected with 16th century alchemists, who were working to produce artificial gold. Scott 1471  Interior of Hall of King Wenceslas. Scott 1471  Here are a couple of pics from my 2017 visit to Prague. The writer Franz Kafka lived at 22 Golden Lane for a couple of years.
