Czechoslovakian stamps didn't just show paintings,
portraits of famous personalities or flowers.
Sometimes one of their designers came up with an
artistic image.
Like this one from 1968 for the 50th Anniversary
of Czechoslovakia.

Golden Lane is a street situated at the Prague Castle.Its name is connected with 16th century alchemists,
who were working to produce artificial gold.
