LaoPhil, the way Slania represents the artist's pen-strokes in his engraving of those Faröe Islands stamps is just miraculous. I have the same stamps in my collection, and they're among my favourites. Wow!

I have spent more than 50 years admiring the amazing work of Czeslaw Slania.
I suppose every collector has his favourite Slanias and I'm no exception.
This one from the 1973 100 years Nordic Museum issue is a perfect example of
why he was the master.
Scratching dots,dashes and lines on a piece of metal he created masterpieces.
