Since so many sets have more than one engraver
I think it's better to have them all together
in one thread instead of splitting up sets.

Except for the Master Engraver Czeslaw Slania who has his own thread
but I will include him here if he is part of a set.

Sweden 1973

Scott 994 - 998

Tourist attractions.

Engravers : Arne Wallhorn (1921 - 1994)
Czeslaw Slania

Scott 1031 - 1035

Various types of skiing

Engravers : Majvor Franzen (born 1938) see short bio here http://stampengravers.blogspot.ca/2...ing-aka.html
Zlatko Jakuš born 1945 in Zagreb,Yugoslavia (now Croatia).

Majvor Franzén was one the few female engravers and she did excellent work.
Her style was similar to Arne Wallhorn in some of her engraving IMO.

Very Nice!
I like the canoe stamp.
Also, the stamp with the large number of people skiing has amazing intricate detail!

graphis, I see you're going after the Swedish now too.
Nice

modernstamps, I'm glad you like the stamps and thank you for the
comments.
Interestingly the one you mentioned actually has Slania's
face on it.
He is the skier on the lower left with glasses and
the bib number J.Afton 1972

Read about it here on the Heindorff site.

Scott 928 - 932

Engravers : Majvor Franzen, Czeslaw Slania, Heinz W. Gutschmidt

Tourist attractions in SE Sweden

Notice the Z in MAJVOR FRANZEN's name on her 2 stamps.
It appears that she didn't engrave the Z on the die in a mirror image.

Check out Heinz W. Gutschmidt's bio at Adrian's Stamp Engravers blog
