Here's another autogiro cover. This one carried on a flight from the roof of the Philadelphia Post Office down to Washington DC October 1939

It contained an amply illustrated letter from Eastern Airlines President Eddie Rickenbacker promoting the possibilities of autogiro mail and passenger service into the central business districts of large cities served by outlying airports.

Recently landed another autogiro cover.
This one from an air show held August 8 and 9, 1931, in Sioux City, Idaho.

Mine was posted on August 8, with a purple stamped cachet showing an autogiro.
In his article on autogiro covers, Peter Martin indicates that his posted August 9 is also in purple.

The complete original set issued by Spain, in 1939 (Edifil 880 - 886). This was printed by Hija de B. Fournier in Burgos. It was reprinted after the civil war by the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre in Madrid (Edifil 940 - 947), between 1941 and 1947. A value of 10 PTS was added.
