Kronborg Castle has a kind of peaceful appearance from distance, so I am surprised when I see the picture of its moat. The first castle was build in 15th century and transformed as a fort in 1585. It is refered as the stage of Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Denmark 5 September 1985 / 400th Anniversary of Kronborg Castle, Elsinore / design: A. Havsteen-Mikkelsen, engrave: C. Slania |
