Finland's May 23, 1988 "Europa XXIII" set of two stamps feature the themed "transport and communication". The low value 1.80 mk stamp (Facit #1052) gives an artistic interpretation of fast, modern (digital) communication through electronic transmission.

One of the 2019 British Engineering stamps shows an integrated circuit board with microchips and connection ports.

On May 8, 1992 Finland issued a set of three similarly designed stamps with different values, but which included the same holographic image. These stamps feature Finnish technoloigy, and each one is inscribed "European technology cooperation" in English, Finnish, and Swedish languages. The 2.90 mk value (Facit #1176) from this set shows microcircuitry.

One of the Malaysia 2010 Science and Technology stamps uses the traditional textile Songket to symbolize modern communication and integration via information technology.

The QR codes printed on these Croatia 2011 stamps can be used to track the mail and confirm delivery. A dedicated website provides a variety of information about their journeys.

This 1984 Sweden Integrated Circuit stamp shows a DIP (dual in-line package) and a PCB (printed circuit board).
