Hi Everyone,
I bought a 2004 catalog and though the cover showed images of stamps in color, all pages & photos inside were in black and white. What year did Scott Catalogs start printing in color? I want to buy an older catalog but want color stamp images inside. I saw some from 2012 that were reasonably prices but want to make sure. Thank you.

I'm not sure exactly when Scott began printing their catalogs in color, but I know for a fact that the ones from 2012 are colorized. |

I can push that back to 2009.
Mine from that year has color images of the various stamps. |

My 2004 Scott U.S. Specialized catalog has black and white images inside and my 2008 Scott U.S. Specialized catalog has color images inside so the changeover happened at some point in the interim. |

"I thought 2008 was the first color version."
Not sure about the worldwide catalog, but I use a 2007 Scott Specialized, the U.S.-only catalog, and it's all in color. |
