I've been working on creating an albumeasy album of the work of Jacques Combet and was wondering if there is a searchable e-catalogue of France and colonies and former colonies that would be searchable by engraver/designer? The online database i've found of his work seems to be incomplete-I've discovered after using it for about 6 months and have reached the editing phase.
Thanks

May we have the link to this please?

I use a link called Phil-Quest, that have all the French designers
I found it researching Gabriel-Antoine BARLANGUE

I was convinced I had French Revenues by COMBET, I would have wagered your wallet on it.
Alas! I cannot find in my database, perhaps I am getting confused with TASSET

Another approach would be to pick up an old, cheap copy of Gibbons's France and Colonies catalogue. Unlike Yvert, it usually includes details of designers.

Yes, Rod, that's the one I was using. That other one Phil-Ouest is the one that opened my eyes to how many are missing from the blog database. It seems to just be France? it's here: https://www.phil-ouest.com/Timbres....re=DateVente
And he did do some BoB, some postage dues for France. They are not in this list above. Plus so far about 6 additional issues, maybe more. Just found Niger C42 for instance. BTW he also did 45 rpm record covers extensively, The Beatles for Odeon Records for instance. oh yeah and some postal stationary. Here's another one I just found: https://www.timbres-de-france.com/c....php?debut=0
edit: just found an error in the last link, it includes a stamp from someone else.

Wow! there's a first for me.
Being a Beatles fan, I had never heard of Odeon records before.
(Odeon, being a cinema name in my village)
Odeon : (Rom) a building for musical performances.

I just found the 45rpm sleeve
I knew "Anna" as "Go with him"
Now I am suffering from 1963 nostalgia...

Discogs has all of his covers listed. If you start digging in them you'll definitely get lost for a while listening to old records.

On the stamps, I feel a bit panicked. I've created over 100 pages of his work so far and would like to know I got them all before I print it.

Consider?........
To your preface of work,
add to the tabulated Index, Pages for Addenda, Corrigenda and errata.

That way you can have a complete work, up to the dated print.
