Here is one sent via diplomatic pouch from the American Embassy, Phnom Penh. Arrived Washington, D.C., Sept. 1955 Scott # 14  Miss Garnett spent thirteen months in Cambodia in 1955-1956 working for the International Cooperation Administration as an education consultant. The Independence Monument in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, was built in 1958 to memorialize Cambodia's independence from France in 1953. It is in the form of a lotus-shaped stupa, of the style seen at the temple at Banteay Srei and other Khmer historical sites. The Independence Monument was designed by the Cambodian architect Vann Molyvann. To commemorate the 8th anniversary of Cambodia independence, a set of 5 stamps and two SS's show the monument were issued. Here is one stamp and one SS: 
 A year later, on November 9, 1962, the monument was officially inaugurated. to commemorate this event, two stamps from the upper set, were revalued and overprinted "INUGURATION DU MONUMENT":  Banknote of 5 Riel and postcard, both show the independence monument:

A set of five engraved stamps was issued by Cambodia on October 12, 1968 to publicize the Summer Olympic Games held in Mexico in that year. All stamps were designed by the Cambodian artist Nhek Dim.
