Weird... they were distinctly different topics. One dealt with the new model of buying from the APS online and the other with a now canceled organizational merger.

Don't think so. Just checked and they're still two separate threads.

Pretty certain that was meant figuratively.

If this were an exhibit, someone would lose points for something somewhere...

Just received my American Stamp Collector (ASDA's magazine) and there's an article stating that the merger has been called off by Scott English the APS Executive Director.

I put out a statement in January and it appeared in the February issue of The American Philatelist.

Here it is: https://stamps.org/news/c/news/cat/...board-action

I ran across the image on the Internet and reminded me of the discussion about dealers.

For those who may be interested, the above pic is of Justin Wilson (1914-2001) famous in south Louisiana, as a chef and humorist. He had a cooking TV show at one time filled with not only his cooking receipts but also his humorist tales from his experiences in life. I met him once back in the 1990s at a cook-out (Cajun style- crabs, crawfish, shrimp etc.)--a really down to earth person.

I used to watch his cooking shows. He used to brag how he would measure spices accurately using his palm.
