Quote: The ASDA and hipstamps thread have merged. Weird... they were distinctly different topics. One dealt with the new model of buying from the APS online and the other with a now canceled organizational merger. |

Quote: Don't think so. Just checked and they're still two separate threads. Pretty certain that was meant figuratively. |

If this were an exhibit, someone would lose points for something somewhere... |

Just received my American Stamp Collector (ASDA's magazine) and there's an article stating that the merger has been called off by Scott English the APS Executive Director.

I ran across the image on the Internet and reminded me of the discussion about dealers. |

For those who may be interested, the above pic is of Justin Wilson (1914-2001) famous in south Louisiana, as a chef and humorist. He had a cooking TV show at one time filled with not only his cooking receipts but also his humorist tales from his experiences in life. I met him once back in the 1990s at a cook-out (Cajun style- crabs, crawfish, shrimp etc.)--a really down to earth person. |

I used to watch his cooking shows. He used to brag how he would measure spices accurately using his palm. |
