Hello everybody, this Kenya stamp dated 1910 to 1935 was next to my late father's penny black stamp in his collection.
I noticed something similar was going for $75 on ebay.
Can anybody help me put a value on this stamp and is it collectable?

Sorry to disappoint you. Scott catalogue #42 with a catalogue value for used 25 cents. In reality you might get a few pennies for it.

1910-1935 refers to George

1910-1935 refers to his reign.

This is part of the Silver Jubilee issue of 1935. Similar stamps were issued throughout the Empire. A complete mint collection, including the most desirable issue, Egypt, goes for around £500. I imagine that the higher priced items you have seen are minor design varieties, which appear in many of the stamps of the issue.

Classic mistake of the new philatelist. "Similar" means nothing in this hobby.

Used in Uganda.

Is the postmark Ororo or (more likely) Tororo?

This stamp is brown with a blue inner image. In StampWorld I see only Olive-green with blue. Does anyone know what the real color should be? Thanks

The centre of the stamp is blue, the frame, olive-green - the OP's image darkens the colours.

SG124: light blue and olive-green (SG Empire Catalogue, 2007).

I think the lighting shows the colour more brownish than it is. If you look closely, you can see it has an olive-green colour.

My copy of the 20c stamp definitely has an olive green frame; not remotely brown.

Typical problem with phone pictures, or bad scanners.

Last Sunday, in Madrid's Paseo de la Florida, I watched through the window of a shop that sold olives. The variety in colours of the olives would have allowed for quite a long series of stamps in olive colours. Even just the colours of Spanish green olives would have allowed for a nice album page of different olive green stamps.

Of course, the olives themselves would go down well with a good glass of wine.

A few olives, some almonds, a glass of fino en rama … What more could you ask for?

As stated earlier, there are some plate defects / varieties, which add value. I picked these two up in a dime book some time back. Both are Gold Coast with the short extra flagstaff variety.
