In the 2021 SBK book in the Flugspende Vignette section, the last listing is "1948 Mailand-Basel" with a description of "#27 - Volo speziale Milano-Basilea". However, this one listing doesn't have an image to clue me in as to what I might be looking for (all the rest do). Does anyone know and have an image or link that could show me what that vignette looks like?

Not a great image, but I believe this is it: There is also a general expo label for IMABA 1948, but that comes in more than one color, and there is only a one-line entry in SBK, so that can't be it. This one also matches the wording. |

Thank you very much! I don't think I've ever come across one of these online, but I also wasn't looking for this specifically. Now I know! Cheers |

Hmmm, Is that the Italian equivalent and I'm actually looking for this one? No mention of Milano though. I might just contact SBK directly. |

That's the expo label to which I was referring. I'm assuming that's just a general expo souvenir? The other label, above, at least has the right words showing in SBK's listing? Educated guesses, only. My Sanabria is a 1946 edition, so that's no help.
I went through Zumstein and didn't spot anything, but I'll look again. They sort this general type of material a bit differently than the categories used by SBK and I could have missed it. Easily.
Anybody have the Pellegrini airmail catalogue? Or the Schweizerischer Luftpost-Katalog? |

You are absolutely right that the wording is an exact match. My only hesitancy is that I can't find any examples yet where this is used with Swiss stamps and it shows up in Italian postage albums. If this was a joint effort I would think it would also show up envelopes originating from Switzerland. It's not very common anyway, but I was left with questions from the examples I saw. Still very well could be what you suggested and I appreciate your feedback. |

Interesting point. Hopefully someone comes along who has one of those catalogues. If it's in Pellegrini, we can probably rule it out as the SBK stamp. |

Mystery solved - Schweizerischer Luftpost-Katalog 2018 shows it to be the ones that were originally suggested, according to a response in a Swiss stamp facebook group I am in. So it appears to be a joint country release. |
