" I will slowly decrease the price over time and I don't believe there's anything wrong with that. "
And you will not live long enough to get it down to the price it will sell at. |

Quote: The double eye Martha Washington is one of my favorite stamps - I admit, I'm just selling it for an astronomical price to see who on earth would pay that much. It's more of a test than anything. I'm lowering the price consistently, the all caps is to hopefully draw attention and not deter. Good luck with that. Trying to sell a "paper inclusion" variety for anything more than 2x the catalog price is quite the stretch already. I don't think that the All Caps is getting you the attention that you want. Why not put in "Extremely Rare" for even more attention? In any case, I do admit that the wart on the nose and the blemish on the cheek do give Martha an appearance that she does not deserve. (Are you going to get a cert on this one also?) |

Parting words: In quantum mechanics you can do the same thing many times and get different results. This sure ain't the quantum realm. Also, being realistic - I'm not going over this again and again expecting to get different responses or results any more. That's just crazy. So - I tried, they didn't listen. Keep on posting to post. I just have to give it up to the trolls - they are consistent and dependably oblivious. They did fantastic work or ruining the topic and point of my post. |

You guys are amazing. I read those posts with jaw agape honestly. Can we shut this post down? I think we've kicked this dead horse enough--let's leave it around for posterity for the next fool to find and model his own manifestos. In conclusion after much summation, troll be gone |

While looking for issues on stamps can help one keeps their mind focused away from other activities, I think here the effort is not distraction but parental protection and income generation. It is hard to chide a parent undertaking that activity. So with heavy heart I will depart this thread and not comment further. |

Sorry, but I don't see a connection between "the story" and asking silly prices for things. Why not, if "the story" is true, simply work extremely hard at selling the tens of thousands of stamps the right way? By now you might actually have made money AND it would be honest. |

Can't believe I'm doing this. Here is my son when he was born. I hope this should end all doubts. He is doing well. |

Cute boy! Still not seeing the connection between the boy and silly Ebay prices though. My wife needs another pancreas transplant, but I don't see trying to lure a sucker on Ebay to paying five figures for something not worth a fraction of that. For all I know if a spider came into the web, they also had serious personal issues to contend with. It is just all bad juju IMHO. |

----To new readers and new collectors ---- This searching and collecting small faults on stamps has been around a long time . Printing has gotten better over the years ,so less defects are on the newer stamps , This is called FLY SPECKING . It was more common in the 1950's and 1960's
As far as value of those defects you find ,it is of little to no value to the philatelic community. Fun to find and fun to write up and mount on a album page , but don't expect to have a financial gain . Selling one for a high price is really trolling for stupidity |
